One of the ways that anti-social media distorts reality, is that a large percentage of people don't seem to care who rules them. Even in the last US presidential election only about 2/3 of eligible voters bothered to cast a ballot.

I am terrified by the lack of participation in the recent provincial election here in Ontario. And by the probable medical consequences of the fact that Doug Ford thereby continues to be premier of Ontario.
