jhetleyAnother young raccoon dead in the road through the bog. Just across from where I saw the other, which is still there. Mama Coon ain't raising her young-uns right.
Not roadkill, family of Canada geese out at the cemetery pond -- two adults and six or seven scale models.
Smartweed blooming, plus a lot of fresh tansy. Don't know if those are a different variety or just different growing conditions.
Got out on the bike, warm but not yet deadly hot -- 81 F when I got home. Upriver on the route that will be closed off for construction in a week. Did not die. Ride takes me to 600 miles for the year.
