Thursday floral/roadkill report
Jul. 7th, 2022 01:02 pmCommon mullein starting to bloom, trumpet vine, and some late goldenrod. Swaths of crown vetch. Lime trees trying to suffocate us.
Summer-phase varying hare dead by the roadside, not as messed up as the one in the bog Tuesday.
Couple of KC-135s at the end of the taxiway, ready for takeoff. Didn't check the tail-feathers to see if they were locals or transients.
Got out on the bike, across town and back, low tide downtown. Did not die.
