jhetleyLime trees and privet flowering, lots of hop clover and rabbits' foot clover right by the road edge, more of the purple loosestrife showing up. Cattails showing pollen flowers at the tips of their spikes. City mowing some of my prime botanizing territory.
Flat red squirrel in the next town upriver, mess of brown and white fur on the asphalt out in the bog -- species indeterminate but proper size and color for a varying hare in summer.
Got out on the bike, warmer and windier than I would prefer. Did not die.
