So I put on my formal blue-jeans and go out in the rain and drive across town through five miles of Official Maine Moose Crossing within the city limits to meet with Nice Long-term Client, to hear "I thought I cancelled the meeting..."

Oh well, I can find other entertainment. Like the flying dandelion flower that is a male goldfinch in full spring plumage at the thistle feeder.

No further word on Younger Son or Younger Son's Girlfriend or The Demon Kittens From Hell, down in the New Hampshire flood zone.

For those who worry, we own a canoe.

Are they in Durham, or in one of our lovely nearby towns? Not that Durham isn't lovely, although the number of similar looking brick buildings in neat rows makes me think of some military academy.

They're right in town -- Younger Son is in campus grad housing. Don't know where Girlfriend parks herself when she isn't flooded out, but neither of them have cars.

The kittens, of course, have Heisenbergian indeterminate residence.
