Friday floral report

jhetleyFirst red clover blooms, purple vetch, yellow hawkweed, columbine. Also tiger swallowtails, if we count butterflies as self-propelled flowers. Some lupines flowering all the way to the tops of their spikes. Oak trees dropping catkins, maples discarding their failed/aborted spinners. Maybe the pollen count will dip?
No roadkill unless two log-haulers count. I'm assuming only one had a problem. Heavy tow truck arriving on the scene as I passed through.
Out on the bike, across town and out by the airfield and over some hills and home. Did not die.
