Friday floral and critter report

jhetleyEarliest flowering crabapples and plums in bloom, probable Canada mayflower, huge swathes of dandelions. Tamaracks going green, green shadows of shed flowers under some maples.
No roadkill seen. Live woodchuck out by the second gym on this route, retreated when I got closer. I know where you live, rodent. Also, definite falcon out at the base, unsure of size but I *think* peregrine. I've seen one in that area in past years.
Rode across town before the heat slams down, out past the airport/base, up over hills and home. Did not die.
