Tuesday semi-vernal report

Three geese out at the cemetery pond, I presume there was a fourth I didn't see. They tend to come in even numbers at this time of year. No roadkill beyond a small brown bird -- could have been a finch or warbler. Woodchuck and orange cat made good career choices by aborting attempted crossings.

More skunk cabbage, more coltsfoot, bracken unfurling in the bog. Early green haze on the trees. Water level down a few inches from last passage.

Temperature above 60 F, got out on the bike in regular bike gear. Did not die. Still fiddling with route tweaks.
