Waiting for the car to be serviced. Shop says it needs $$$, things mainly due to age rather than wear. Not just an oil change and state inspection, this time.
Vehicles are a severe drain on resources, but a necessary evil when one needs to get from here to there. If only public transportation was a workable solution.
Public transportation is great in other parts of the world, not so great here.
