In some cases yes. In other cases, it's like you say - the people for whom I voted can't/won't/are unable to do what they said they would. But I DID vote.

I understand about the President making campaign promises that he can't keep because Congress won't allow passage. I wish more people did, maybe they'd be more careful about being sure for whom they voted for Congress and Senate.
