No fresh roadkill to report. Which is not a bad thing.

Noon temperature was 60 F, so I dragged the bike shorts and tee-shirt out of storage. Nothing much notable on the ride, although pussywillows have been spotted (sort of like the appearance of Peeps, a rite of spring.) I saw what _might_ have been moose tracks along the road, or might have been big deer tracks that have weathered still larger. Since this was in winter sand over pavement, I'm tempted to say moose -- a deer wouldn't have needed to spread his little ungulate hooves, and wouldn't have sunk in deep.

15.23 miles*, 1:08:15

*I forgot to reset the bike computer until I was already out on the road. Your mileage may vary.

60 and you're in shorts and a tshirt? It was 82 today and I was chilly in the shade! As a matter of fact, I haven't gotten on the bike because the breeze would be too cold.
You're a trooper!

Desperation, dear, just desperation. This is the warmest weather we've had since November. ("Since I left Plum Tree down in Tennessee, it's the first time I've been warm.")

Well, the one thing I learned in Alaska, be sure to wear goggles so your eyes don't freeze.
