The asbestos guys are out of the basement, along with bags full of century-old pipe insulation. Begone, foul fiends, and trouble us no more! Tomorrow, the backhoe and foundation crew. I can hear the bank balance screaming from here.
Actually _is_ a beautiful day, sunny and about 70F with a light breeze and low humidity. Canadian air, they tell us. Welcome at this time of year, less so in January when it comes howling straight down from James Bay or Lake Winnipeg.
And my knee appears to have forgiven me. 15.3 miles, 1:03

Date: 2004-08-24 02:00 pm (UTC)But they day *is* good, with every window in the house open and every excuse to get a way from the computer taken -- walk to check the mail a dozen times, walk to look at the day lilly, a walk to check the maple tree and contractor for DEP ran over last week...
Glad your knee is better. Mine's got a bruise the doctor tells me may take a couple months to stop bugging me.
