Politics here and now consists of individuals and groups screaming, "If I can't have my way, I'll shut the whole system down."

As far as the Canadian federal election this week has gone...I haven't gotten my way right away, but given the last two years' performance of this government, I'm not going to write them off as useless. I'd have preferred that my party had formed government, but we had enough leverage with Trudeau that we got several things improved that really needed it. Especially in this time of Pandemic. There's room for further influence as things are now.

Also, we dodged the worst possible political bullets for sure and certain.
