Thursday foliage report

jhetleyA few upland trees have turned color, spots of red in a sea of green. Asters asters uber alles, bumblebees working the blooms for all they are worth. Bracken going brown or golden.
Roadkill limited to a couple of gray squirrels and a possible painted turtle.
More of the local KC-135s parked near my water stop. I suspect the paving work has disturbed their nests.
Across town and back, windy, sticky-warm. Did not die.
