Tuesday foliage report

Most of the maples in the bog have changed color and a few of the tamaracks are starting. The local ash trees are doing their change-one-day-drop-leaves-the-next thing, on their own peculiar schedules -- some trees will still be green when others are bare. Asters and goldenrod rule the roadsides.

No roadkill beyond gray squirrels and some patches of stained asphalt.

Windy, gusts over 20 mph, so not as much fun to ride as it might have been. Did not die.
