Changing times again

Crew removing the pumps and tanks of yet another neighborhood gas station, this being where we filled up our cars for several decades, with an owner who knew us by sight and who actually serviced cars. That's at least six stations shut down within easy walking distance. Economy moving.

I remember an intersection that used to host a Shell gas station, and now Habitat for Humanity has been putting up townhomes.

The original buildings of the two stations at the end of our block have been repurposed to a sports-rehab medical place and a Chinese restaurant.
