jhetleyFlat porcupine in the middle of the road through the bog, looked like it had been there for several days ambushing unwary tires.
Ornamental fruit trees starting to bloom, cherries and plums and crab-apples. Shadbush blooming out in the woods. Too early for trillium and moccasin-flower. Bracken starting to unfurl, and cattail shoots green.
Got out on the bike, regular weekday route. Did not die.
