Just a space filler...
Pleased to see the Czechs beat the Russians in the bronze medal hockey game -- residual indoctrination from the Cold War, plus my ancestral roots in the mountains of Bohemia. Tomorrow -- Finland versus Sweden. I would suggest metal detectors or body-searches before players are allowed on the ice.
Spent part of the afternoon plodding through a professional education course on liability insurance. Large thrills, but they give me a rebate on the policy premium. Such is the glamorous life of the architect.
No attempt at skiing. Trails would be worn down to gravel by now.
Received those remaindered copies of THE SUMMER COUNTRY yesterday, was surprised to note that they are from the third printing. So good news comes out of bad -- nobody had bothered to tell me that the book had gone back to press.
Nothing more to see here, move along.
