Our thermometers are reading around 50 F this morning (10 C) and a cardinal is singing in the top of our side-yard maple. That bird is gonna get a shock this weekend, with predictions of sub-zero after a front passes tomorrow...
Meanwhile, we have bare ground again. And sap dripping from cut limbs on that same maple.
February? Maine? Maybe I should ask Wife to bring one of those GPS units home with her this evening, so I can check latitude and longitude. I didn't realize continental drift moved this fast.
Also, I'm getting a 404 error when I try to check excite.com. Maybe they got cut off when the continent split.
