(Part N+1) When I headed out for my afternoon walk, my approach to the main road was heralded by looming sirens. Two of the city's massive aerial trucks passed, followed by a command car and an ambulance. I scanned the horizon in that direction, but couldn't see any pillar of smoke to lead the Israelites. We'll probably never know.
