There and back again

Had to go out for an errand, upriver past the university. Did not get blown or washed off the road. Had a flock of ducks next to the cemetery pond, another flock upriver of a bridge, and about a hundred gulls in the hospital fields when I came back. Not fit weather for man nor beast.

The birds seemed to find it fit for walking, so maybe that was a blessing?

I did see a few gulls flying. They deal with storms. Most of them seemed to be sitting this one out.
