Not raining right now

Air temperature 51 F, wind northwest 14 mph gusting to 25, mostly cloudy. Did have a sunrise, sneaking in under the edge of those clouds. Gathered the ritual bouquet of dandelions in a relish jar. Should be able to get a walk in.

Sunday floral walk

Ornamental fruit trees are bursting into bloom, cherry and plum and crab-apple. Meanwhile, maples and ash trees are dumping flowers, creating green and red and brown carpets on the sidewalks. Met up with Ms. Sasha at her neighbor's front walk, we had a chat and scritch and then walked around the corner to her own front steps where I could sit and provide extended services. Sunny but windy -- jacket was a good choice.
