Snowbirds returning

Air temperature 55 F, wind northwest 9 mph gusting to 16, partly cloudy. Roads damp from light rain overnight, drying off now. Park crows presumed to be similar. Sun has moved far enough north that the headlamp joggers have doused their lights. Cars parked overnight at the "summer place" across the park.

First white violets blooming in a lawn on my walk route. Some of the earliest tulips are opening. Our azalea buds swell. Spring may be real. There were, however, no cat friends seen. I blame the wind.
