Monotonous life

Air temperature 28 F, light north wind, mostly cloudy. Wind supposed to come around to the south this afternoon, with temperatures near 50 F. More snow melt -- expect to be left with plow berms and vestigial drifts only by the end of the day. Foraging morning, appointment afternoon.

Geese on the bare grass out by the cemetery pond. No open water, but they remember. (They hang around all winter, open water on the river because it's tidal here.)
