Dusting in the wind

Air temperature 17 F, wind northeast 12 mph gusting to 23, light snow falling. Accumulation looks like an inch or two so far, with one snowplow pass across the end of the driveway. Nothing to crank the snowblower for. Supposed to end before noon.

Snow relocation, stage one

Driveway and sidewalk clear until the next visit from a snowplow. Which will happen. Cold out there. I maybe should have run the snowblower rather than shoveling, because that heaves the material out further. We're starting to develop hills.

Inconvenient

We passed up an opportunity to get interviewed by a local TV guy. Subject, winter. I kept shoveling.
