Traveler beware

Air temperature 29 F, wind southwest about 3 mph, mostly cloudy. Winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories scattered around the landscape. Rain supposed to start after noon, turn to snow here after 6 PM. Should be able to get a morning walk in.

Ice on the puddles

The shape of things to come. Morning walk logged, no cat friends. Sun is just a hazy brighter area in the clouds. Chilly. Quiet.

Incongruity

Watching a few minutes of the Macy's parade and wondering how many of those baton-twirlers will have to be treated for hypothermia . . .

Wet snow falling

Air temperature 33 F, wind northeast 10 mph gusting over 20, snow sticking to the grass. And dog walkers out. We are getting that weird strobe-light effect on the falling snow from our LED garage light. Entertaining to small minds, such as myself.
