Morose haze morning

Air temperature 58 F, wind southwest about 3 mph, scattered fog. Visibility about 1/3 mile at the airport, maybe 1/2 mile here. Air quality slightly improved to AQI 67. Canada needs to quit smoking.

Messy life cycle

The ornamental plum trees are dropping their fruit on sidewalks on my walk route. Add that to the dogshit as reasons to watch your footing. And no, I don't think anyone collects the plums for eating.

On a brighter note, met up with Ms. Sasha on my morning walk. She didn't follow me around the corner when I left, so I guess I met the minimum requirement of petting and scritching.
