Air temperature 60 F, wind southeast about 5 mph, cloudy. Rain moving on but roads still wet. More upwind. May have a gap I can fit a walk into. Not expecting a bike ride . . .
Adult birds out pillaging. Youngsters are showing actual feathered wings, bulky enough now that a complete count evades us. Will probably leave the nest in two or three days, and may be sneaky about it.
Raining again. In addition to the amateur radio Field Day operations, we have a marathon and half-marathon out on the roads this morning. Well, the runners won't die of heat stroke . . .
