Monday floral report
Jun. 17th, 2024 03:56 pmFirst brown-eyed susans out in the wild, hostas are shoving out flowers in some beds in town, and the orange hawkweed has spread in that direction as well. Maybe some hop-clover and rabbit's-foot clover by the roadside, but not prominent yet. Day lilies starting to bloom.
Roadkill limited to a couple of flattened gray squirrels. Keep the coyotes and bobcats fed.
Only metal bird seen was a charter up near the military side of things. I couldn't identify the brand.
Biked across to the airport and back, got sprinkled on but not soaked, more wind than I would have preferred. Did not die.
