Old is new again

Air temperature 48 F, wind northerly 14 mph gusting to 25, partly cloudy. That wind may force me to drop a bike ride off the schedule. Meanwhile, the world continues to be full of people who want other people to die. And are willing to accelerate the process.

Historic trauma

I suspect that the resurgence of our forsythia bush is it adapting to having a large oak tree removed just prior to our buying this place. That would have thrown major shade over the bush.

Meanwhile, our front azalea is on the verge of blooming. Hope the hummingbirds get the news.
