Air temperature 35 F, wind north gusting over 30 mph, "showers in the vicinity." The wind is the serious part, because that gets into the range of danger to power line work. Still have over 250,000 customers without power in the state. Trash is out, we haven't had a snowplow pass since yesterday afternoon, and the roads are wet rather than white. This is not true elsewhere.

Sidewalk snowplow is working its way around the park, early. The city's plow priorities escape me. This is not a walk route to schools or businesses.

Maybe this is where sidewalk snowplows go to die? I haven't noticed any bleached bones . . .

After a spring storm that dropped up to 20" of wet snow in parts of Maine, the forecast for Eclipse Day is clear skies. Low probability event. My dire warnings of Mud Season still stand.
