Just slogging along

Air temperature 30 F, wind north gusting to 21 mph, cloudy. Foraging morning. May not get a walk in after -- forecast is showers this afternoon, rain tonight, maybe freezing rain back in the hills. *twitch*
Utility companies report most power restored, working down their priorities to restoring single service connections now.
Late posting because DW was returning error messages early.

Unexpected move

Got an afternoon walk in, not even a drizzle. Did spend most of the route walking in the street, with few sidewalks cleared and even them slushy. No cats. Did see a good number of robins, by ones and twos, all males where I could get a good view. I could almost see the thought-bubbles -- "This isn't what I signed up for."
