A lot of political and economic thought is based on scarcity. That there isn't "enough to go around." If I have something, someone else must lack it. That if I have food and a warm house, it is only because someone else must be hungry and cold . . .

Suspicion confirmed

Met up with Sasha on my afternoon walk, so petting and scritches commenced. Then one of her people came out and we chatted a bit. He said that yes, Louie is gone. Kept going downhill, stopped eating, etc. Now Sasha doesn't have anyone to bully any more.
