Tempest, meet teapot

Air temperature 35 F, wind south at about 8 mph, overcast and damp. No actual rain or snow when I rolled the trash bin out to the road. More on the way. The Worldcon/Hugos hog-wrassle made NPR this morning with no further clarity added to the turbid waters.

A maze of twisty little passages . . .
We get a bit of amusement out of watching the various ways the trash collectors and U. S. Postal Service work their way around our neighborhood to ensure full coverage. This area is a marvel of 1970 urban renewal, with roads that curve and swoop around short cross-streets and intersect in peculiar ways. One example, our side street intersects with our main street twice.
