Hand-basket shortage

Air temperature 27 F, wind southeast about 5 mph, cloudy. Nothing particular on the agenda today besides not getting eaten by a grue. Should be able to fit in a walk.

Acoustic oddity

Could hear gunfire while out for my walk this afternoon. Sustained. I *know* that had to be the National Guard/Reserve training center out beyond the airport, but it was still a bit twitchy.

Edit to add -- that's about 5 miles away, as the booms fly . . .
