Still self-censoring

Air temperature 20 F, wind near calm, partly cloudy with chance of dog walkers. Supposed to cloud over later with rain tonight into tomorrow, as foretold by last night's moon.

Chilly morning walk

No cat friends. Nuthatches down near the school calling to each other, and a mockingbird in the honeysuckle hedge. Sidewalks not yet blocked by snow. Yet.

Moon shining through oak

I keep thinking we should cook up some variant of the Musgrave Ritual -- "Where was the moon? Over the oak. Where was the shadow? Under the car . . ."

But then we'd have to hide a treasure somewhere.
