Changeable weather

Air temperature 42 F, wind northwest about 5 mph, mostly cloudy. Winter weather advisory popping up for northern Maine, with snow in the forecast. After we reached a record high for the date, 79 F, yesterday. If you don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes . . .

Chipmunks* darting back and forth across our front porch, gathering acorns for their winter storage. Plenty of choice, so each trip doesn't take long.

*We're sure we have at least two, one larger and one smaller.
