Godot still pending

Air temperature 52 F, wind west about 6 mph, mostly cloudy. Tropical storm warning for later today, with Lee track still hitting the western tip of Nova Scotia tomorrow afternoon and bulling on through to Newfoundland. We're on schedule for 30-40 mph winds, which is pretty much a standard north-easter.

Wildlife churning

Flock of robins wandering the neighborhood in advance of the storm, stocking up on chilled worms. Some of them still have the spotty breasts of juveniles, probably a second brood from a successful summer.

Obligations met

Louie was on his side steps on my morning walk and ambled down to meet me. Really leaned into some of the scritching. Turned around and walked back to his steps when I stood up, so I guess I met the minimum daily requirement.
