The gloomy abides

Air temperature 59 F, wind southeast about 6 mph, light rain or mist. Rolled the trash bin out to the end of the driveway without drowning or other incident. Supposed to be rain or showers all day and into tomorrow. We could spare some of this for the wildfire areas, but you'll have to arrange and pay for shipping.

That charade last night cost me the last half of Jeopardy! This has gone too far!

Ill-omen skyward

Spent some time waiting outside of a medical clinic in the car, listening to decent music and reading one of the Rivers of London books. And now and then would look up and see a turkey vulture overhead. Not what you want for a medical facility . . .

(I knew what they were after, dead yearling raccoon in the middle of the road. But still not good advertising.)
