Air temperature 65 F and dew point 64, wind southeast about 6 mph, fog at the airport with visibility 1.4 miles. Rain supposed to hold off until the afternoon, so may be able to fit in a bike ride through the damp.

Sunday roadkill report

One painted turtle by the side of the road near the bog, upside down. Couldn't see any markings beyond the yellowish plastron, but it wasn't a snapper and that's the only other common turtle we have.

Swamp candles/yellow loosestrife starting to bloom in the bog, white sweet clover perfuming the air, and a few early blossoms on the common mullein spikes. Also, some of the roses in the mowing zone of our roads have recovered enough to bloom.

Got misted in a couple of spots, mainly high points where I was probably disturbing low clouds, but managed to slip a bike ride in without rain. Did not die.
