Air temperature 62 F, wind southeast about 2 mph, hazy sky. Supposed to reach 90 F this afternoon, which is record or near record heat for the date. Walk earlier rather than later.

New yellows on walk

Yellow hawkweed starting to show up, so those things aren't all dandelions, and what looks like a variety of cinquefoil but there's like 500 kinds. Not yellow, more rhododendrons blooming every day. Also met up with Louie, who is kind of yellow but not new.

Meanwhile, our striped chipmunk neighbor is hanging out on the front porch. Guess it gives comfortable sight lines for any cats or raptors.
