Thaw continuing

Air temperature 37 F, wind west about 7 mph, mostly cloudy. Yesterday's storm turned out to be rain only. One scheduled for Saturday night into Sunday may or may not be snow. Of course we have People traveling on Sunday . . .

Couple of trees full of blackbirds on my afternoon walk. Ones I could identify were redwings, as was the noise. 'Tis the season.

Hasn't read "aloof"

Did meet up with a cat friend on the afternoon walk, "Chalk" who I hadn't had a chance to pet all winter. Trotted right out to meet me like we hadn't missed a day.
