The morning after

Air temperature 28 F, wind west about 7 mph, mostly cloudy with a hazy crescent moon showing through. Finally stopped snowing last night. Somewhere over 30,000 customers still without power this morning.

Slogging day again

Out for a neighborhood walk, shorter loop to avoid high-traffic streets, and the city lags in sidewalk clearing. Had one section done in the area of a school, but even that didn't really improve footing as it exposed and smoothed ice . . .
