Dog walkers early

Air temperature 65 F, wind south about 5 mph, clear sky. Supposed to get up into the 80s F again today, then cloud up and showers or thundershowers tonight. We need rain.

Awaiting shoe drop

It's kinda a commentary on modern society that when some public person dies, I start waiting for the drumbeat saying that Public Person was actually horrible in some way or another.

Excessively warm

Took my neighborhood walk early, still was damp when I got home. Heat pump engaged. We are pleasantly surprised at the heat inertia of this new-to-us house, compared with one built in 1850.
