Hazy, hot, humid

Air temperature 69 F, wind southwest under 5 mph, mostly cloudy. Probably will limit my Sunday ride to the local route, and earlier rather than later.

Sunday boring report

Midsummer wildflowers (as opposed to Midsommer wildflowers, which will probably kill you.) Two killdeer out at the airport, again no calling or wing-dragging so I must not have been a threat to the puff-ball youngsters. Also, mockingbird on the Air Guard's perimeter wire, but no song.

No roadkill beyond a couple of flat gray squirrels. Only metal bird in the visitor's lot was a FedEx cargo jet.

Across town, by the airport, over the hills, and home. A bit warm for serious exercise, 81 F when I got back. Did not die.
