Minor amusements

We have windows open to celebrate cool, dry air. And I was washing dishes in the kitchen sink, and looked up, and wondered how the day lily at the base of the crabapple tree had started blooming without my noticing. Kitchen windows are casement style, cranking out, and I was seeing flowers over by the living room, reflected . . .

Still learning the quirks of this house.
