Sunday pollen report
May. 29th, 2022 12:52 pmEarliest day lilies blooming, lots more yellow hawkweed and buttercups (including the ones in the horse pasture that always make me wince a little), still a few late rhodora bushes blooming in the bog. More oaks dropping their catkins, tamaracks filling in.
No roadkill to list. A number of blotches on the asphalt might have been frogs before yesterday's rain. Not-roadkill, a number of redwing blackbirds claiming cattails, and a white-tail deer regarding me with distrust from next to a tangle of brush.
Got out on the bike, upriver route but not stretched out for weekend range. Did not die.
