Air temperature 61 F, wind south about 10 mph, mostly cloudy. Rain approaches from the southwest, and had damn well better deliver. I've skipped watering the seedling grass for a couple of days now, because of lies.
The catbirds hung out under our honeysuckle bush again yesterday evening, pecking and poking. Our guess is a reliable supply of bugs. Ants? Handsome birds, they dress up the kitchen window view and are welcome to all they can eat.
