Not frost free today

Air temperature 31 F when I checked our digital thermometer. Airport claimed 34 F, wind north about 8 mph, clear sky. Debating whether I should mow the lawn today, with professionals taking over the job in a week. Lazy may win. It often does.

Well, the old garage is now a pile of splintered boards, some of which I knew by name. I chatted with a guy who was salvaging firewood out of the wreckage -- I refrained from telling him that would have been a lot easier before they dropped the roof on it . . .
