Monday semi-vernal report

More skunk cabbage leaves up, water level down in the bog. New patches of colts-foot blooming, grass greening, no ducks or geese in the cemetery pond. Red-wing blackbirds not yet claiming the cattail patches. Golfers out spoiling their good walks.

Got out on the bike in defiance of 55 F air, working what connections are best to my traditional route from our new base. Further adjustments will be made. Did not die.
